Katherine & David Engaged

There is always something special about finding a spot to shoot engagement photos that has special meaning and some history for the bride.  When we were figuring out the perfect spot for Katherine’s and David’s Engagement Photos we talked about a lot of Austin locations, but I could tell nothing was jumping out until… I suggested Commons Ford Park.  They jumped at it!  Turns out Katherine used to spend time here with her family growing up in Austin.  Are you kidding?  Wow! Just knowing that made every photo I took feel that much more special and touching.   Walking around she remembered having her Girl Scout “Bridging” Ceremony here at one of the bridges over the creek.  So great…  I bet she didn’t imagine as a young Girl Scout she would be back here one day with the love of her life getting ready to get married.

The one above was the consensus favorite and it wasn’t posed – a true private moment between these two awesome people.  I so enjoyed spending time with Katherine and David – and so happy to capture their hearts as they start off on their wonderful marriage together.
